November 5th to 9th 2025

Come to Silver Wattle to spend time working on the productive orchard, food garden and on the land. Work includes planting, weeding, harvesting and preparing beds for growing food, as well as caring for the land through re-vegetation, weed control and conservation of native flora and fauna. The schedule allows time for rest, reflection and worship, walking the landscape, learning and working in community and eating delicious, healthy meals prepared by Sam Hawker.

Volunteers are invited to contribute according to their skills, interests and abilities. You can come for part or all days. For volunteers, there is no cost. All meals and accommodation are provided.

Donations to cover costs are welcome, up to $120 per day.

If you do not wish to volunteer, this is also an opportunity to come to Silver Wattle as a sojourner, to do your own thing, to work on your own projects, to write or paint or study, or to be restored and refreshed, while being cared for in a beautiful landscape and warm community. Costs for sojourners are $120 per night for a single room or $100 per night for a shared room. 3 meals, morning tea and afternoon tea are included.

Please purchase as many nights as you intend to stay. e.g. staying the full gathering will be 4 nights.
